The ASN Graduate Scholarship is available to first-year masters
or doctoral students who are members of Alpha Sigma Nu, the national
Jesuit honor society. The award is renewable for one additional
year depending on fund availability.
Up to 18 credits of tuition scholarship.
All graduate programs
Applicants must be full-time
students and U.S. citizens. Scholarship recipients who accept
other full financial aid packages from the Marquette University
Graduate School, e.g., teaching assistantships, research assistantships,
and fellowships which typically carry full tuition scholarships,
will be required to resign their ASN Graduate Scholarship. Awards
will be made based on the academic credentials of the applicants
not on their financial need.
Submit Graduate
School Application for Admission and Financial Aid and all
admissions credentials by February 15. Clearly write "Alpha
Sigma Nu" on top of the application to be entered in
the scholarship competition and to receive a waiver of the application
fee (the fee will be waived upon verification of ASN membership).
In addition to the application, write a separate letter indicating
your wish to be considered for the Marquette University ASN Graduate
Scholarship and mail or email it to Thomas
Marek, Student Services Coordinator for the Graduate School.
Applicants will be notified of the decisions by mail after March
15.
