Your investment in and your commitment to your graduate education do not have to overwhelm you with a large financial burden. Assistance for your educational costs is available from many different sources. Approximately 35 percent of Marquette graduate students receive financial aid through the Graduate School in the form of assistantships, fellowships and/or scholarships.

Student Loans & Need-based Aid

Applying for financial aid can be a painless process if you keep in mind some helpful hints and follow the guidance of Marquette's Office of Student Financial Aid.

Merit-based Aid

During the 2007-08 academic year the Graduate School alone provided its students with close to $9 million in stipends and tuition scholarships from merit-based assistantships and scholarships, and from privately funded and grant-funded fellowships, and scholarships.
